Adding a protocol handler

The steps for adding a URL protocol handler for a Mozilla family browser (e.g. Mozilla, Firefox or Communicator) is as follows:

Go into the about:config screen.
Right click anywhere on the screen and select New -> String
In the popup box, enter a preference name such as network.protocol-handler.app.ut2004 and click OK.
In the next popup box, enter the string value for the application name (e.g. ut2004)
