ImageMagick is a set of image manipulation utilities. It is available for both UN*X and Windows platforms, in both binary and source forms, and can handle around 100 different image formats. It is designed for use either via a CLI or from within programs written in several programming languages. As a result, it is very suitable for use in scripts, and can be used as a part of a web server environment through CGI scripts, or even by software modules included in the server itself, such as is the case in several Zope/Plone applications.
